About Comprehensive Training Program
Archery here is not just about standing on the line; it is about the grind. Our program integrates 40 hours of monthly coaching with manual retrieval assistance and equipment support, but you have to bring your own fire to the field. We focus on biomechanics, video analysis to fix micro-errors, and strength sessions because you must be physically conditioned to stay consistent at the national level. If you are serious about competing—or simply mastering the bow—this is where you show up.
Success on the range is built long before you draw your bow. At Avid Archery Club, we do not believe in sugarcoating the process. Whether you are aiming for district-level leagues or national championships like the Para Nationals and Khelo India, our training follows a rigid, disciplined structure.
Our Training Pillars
- Technical Foundation: We work across Recurve, Compound, and Para-archery disciplines. For our elite athletes, we utilize real-time video analysis to identify micro-errors in your release and mechanics, ensuring your technique is tournament-ready.
- Conditioning & Focus: It is not just about the arrow. Our routine includes strength training with battle ropes, group drills, and dedicated yoga and meditation sessions. This ensures that when you step onto the field, you have the physical endurance and mental clarity to maintain your aim.
- Inclusive Environment: Our Palam Vihar facility is fully wheelchair-accessible. We provide manual arrow retrieval and setup assistance as standard, ensuring that every athlete—regardless of physical ability—can focus entirely on their performance.
The Schedule & Commitment
Training operates 5 days a week, with sessions running for 2 hours. We keep our groups close-knit to ensure that every student gets the attention they need. We provide club equipment for the first month to get you started, but we guide you through the process of procuring your own customized setup once you are ready to compete.
We train outdoors on our natural grass range, which helps athletes get accustomed to real-world weather conditions and field layouts. If you are ready to put in the work, we are ready to guide you.
