The blouse is the hero of your saree ensemble. From traditional Kanchivaram pairings to modern corset-style cuts, I design custom blouses that fit perfectly and highlight the details of your heritage look.

About Signature Bridal Blouses

Getting the fit right is the most important part of my process. Every blouse I create is structured with built-in padded cups and canvas fusing to ensure it holds its shape throughout your ceremony. I use a double-lining of soft cotton or butter crepe so the heavy embroidery on the back and sleeves never irritates your skin, keeping you comfortable while you move.

When I design a blouse, I look at the saree, your jewelry, and how you want to carry yourself. The blouse is not just a support piece; it is where we can truly play with design.

My Process

I work on an appointment basis to ensure I have the time to understand your vision. We start with a consultation to finalize necklines and sleeve lengths. I then focus on technical measurement, including armhole depth and shoulder drop analysis, to ensure a flawless silhouette.

Embroidery & Details

I specialize in handwork that complements the heavy silks of South India. You will find:

  • Aari and Zardosi Work: I use these techniques for dense floral jaals, paisleys, and temple motifs.
  • Neckline Variety: Whether you prefer a deep sweetheart back, a classic boat neck, or modern cut-outs, I design them to frame your jewelry perfectly.
  • Custom Latkans and Closures: Every finishing touch, from the hidden side zippers to the handmade tassels, is designed to match your outfit.

Your Vision

If you have a specific reference or a traditional Kanchivaram that needs a modern partner, I am here to bring that to life. My studio in Sadashiva Nagar is where we turn these ideas into sketches and then into the final garment. Whether it is a traditional muhurtham look or a contemporary reception outfit, we will make sure it is made just for you.

I am Avani. I believe your bridal blouse should feel as personal as the story behind your wedding day. I do not do mass production; I sit with every bride to understand her vision and ensure the handwork matches exactly what she is dreaming of.
