The Handmade Process: Natural Cold Process Soaps

I don't just mix and pour. My cold process soaps, like the turmeric bars you see here, need four full weeks to cure. This patience is how I ensure they turn out hard, long-lasting, and super gentle on your skin.

Behind the Scenes of Every Bar

Making soap is a slow, rewarding process. I start by blending raw, skin-loving ingredients like cold-pressed coconut oil, olive oil, and rich Shea and Mango butters. Unlike mass-produced soaps that use harsh chemicals, I stick to traditional cold process methods. This allows the natural glycerin to stay in the bar, keeping it moisturizing and soft on your body.

Once the batter is mixed and poured into my loaf molds, the magic happens. I hand-pipe the tops with colorful soap batter and add a little biodegradable glitter or botanicals to make them look as good as they smell. After they are cut into bars, they go into a curing area for at least four weeks. This is non-negotiable! It lets the water evaporate, resulting in a harder bar that lasts longer in your shower without turning into mush.

I choose every ingredient for a reason. Turmeric for a natural glow, activated charcoal for detox, and goat milk for that extra creamy lather.
