About Bridal & Grand Occasion Blouses
For bridal work, I don't just stitch; I construct. We use double-lining—satin and cotton—specifically to handle the weight of heavy Zardosi and Kundan work so your shoulders stay comfortable all day. If you have a specific Kanjivaram or tissue silk saree in mind, bring it to the studio. We will discuss the neckline depth and sleeve patterns before we even touch the fabric to ensure the embroidery sits exactly where it needs to.
Why Your Bridal Blouse Matters
A wedding blouse is the centerpiece of your bridal ensemble. Whether it's a traditional Kanjivaram or modern tissue silk, the blouse needs to hold its own against heavy jewelry. At my studio in Rajajinagar, I focus on pattern engineering—ensuring that deep backs, keyholes, or sheer panels remain structurally sound while looking elegant.
Our Hand-Embroidery Process
My team specializes in traditional and contemporary embroidery techniques:
- Maggam & Aari Work: We use techniques like French knots, cutwork, and Zardosi for that rich, traditional texture.
- Custom Motifs: From temple jewelry patterns to custom floral arrangements, we draft designs that complement your saree border.
- Finishing: Every piece gets full internal overlocking and concealed piping. We prioritize rust-proof hooks and custom-made tassels (latkans) that match your embroidery.
The Bridal Experience
We know brides are busy. That's why I insist on multiple trial sessions for heavy bridal orders. This ensures the fitting is glove-like, preventing any gapes around the neck or shoulders. We work with everything from crepe to pure silk. If you aren't local, no problem—courier your fabric and measurements to us. We will guide you through the design process via video call, ensuring the same quality as an in-studio consultation. Let's make your wedding outfit truly yours.
