Professional Artificial Grass Installation Process in Bengaluru

I manage the entire installation from site prep to final brushing. A perfect lawn is built on a solid foundation, not just the grass on top.

The first step in any installation is a thorough site clearing. Here, my team is removing all debris and old construction materials from a side yard.

Once cleared, the ground is raked and leveled to create a smooth surface. This preparation is crucial for a professional-looking final lawn.

This image shows a cleared and ready dirt area before the base layer is added. I ensure all roots and rocks are removed.

My team member is leveling the soil in a garden space, preparing it for the next stage of the installation process.

After leveling the dirt, I add a base layer of crushed stone or sand. This ensures proper drainage and a stable foundation for the turf.

Spreading the base material evenly is a key step. This prevents sinking and ensures the artificial lawn remains flat over time.

Here you can see the compacted base layer after it has been smoothed and prepared. The surface is now ready for the artificial grass.

About this collection

Don't just paste turf over dirt or tiles. If the base isn't leveled and drained properly, you will end up with water pooling and uneven patches within a few months. I prioritize the foundation first—clearing debris, compacting the soil, and using a stone dust or sand base—before a single roll of turf is laid. This extra work ensures your grass stays smooth, drains correctly, and never lifts at the seams.

My Installation Approach

I handle projects differently depending on your surface. A balcony installation requires precision cutting around drains and heavy-duty adhesive, whereas a garden lawn needs a structured base to prevent weeds and sagging. Here is how I approach the work:

1. Surface Preparation For ground installations, I remove all weeds, rocks, and existing debris. I then lay a Geotextile membrane to stop future weed growth and create a compacted base using stone dust or M-Sand. This provides a stable, flat surface that feels like natural earth underfoot.

2. Custom Cutting and Drainage I use high-density, 35mm to 40mm pile height turf. Whether it is a balcony or a terrace, I map out your drainage points and pillars. I perform precision cutting so the grass fits perfectly without blocking water flow, preventing issues during the monsoon.

3. Fixing and Anchoring I don't rely on generic glue for everything. For soil beds, I use galvanized U-pins driven deep into the ground to anchor the turf. For concrete and tile surfaces like rooftops or balconies, I use industrial-grade synthetic rubber adhesives. This keeps the grass flat and secure even with heavy foot traffic or kids playing.

4. Final Finishing After the turf is secured, I brush the fibers to make them stand up, giving the lawn that full, natural look. I also clear out all construction debris, so the space is ready for you to use immediately.

Why Quality Matters

Using UV-stabilized PE and PP yarns ensures that your green space doesn't fade or crack under the harsh sun. I focus on invisible seams and proper edge trimming, so you get a seamless, clean green patch that is pet-friendly and easy to maintain year-round.
