About The Bespoke Journey: My Studio & Process
We don't just hand you a suit and call it a day. In my studio, we schedule at least one mandatory raw trial fit. It is here that we check the drape on your shoulders and the exact waistline, making adjustments while the structure is still malleable to ensure that when you walk into your event, nothing feels stiff or out of place.
Every piece begins with a conversation. I want to know exactly where you are wearing it, whether it is for a corporate board meeting, a wedding stage, or a gala. This context dictates everything from the fabric weight to the specific cut I recommend.
The Measurement Process
We do not rely on standard sizing. My head cutter takes full body measurements to create a pattern that works with your posture, not against it. Whether it is a slim-fit Jodhpuri or a classic three-piece suit, the pattern is drafted from scratch to suit your specific body type.
Construction and Technique
Inside the studio, we work with both traditional fusing and detailed hand-work. For my heavily embellished pieces, we reinforce the shoulders and base so the weight of the zardozi or glass beads does not pull the fabric out of shape. We use durable interlining structures for formal suits to keep them crisp even after long hours of wear.
The Fitting
The raw trial fit is where the magic happens. We pin and mark, ensuring the armholes are comfortable and the jacket length aligns perfectly with your proportions. By the time you get your steam-pressed garment in its cover, it is meant to fit like a second skin. Please keep in mind that I require 15 to 20 days for custom production to ensure there is enough time for these drying, curing, and fitting stages.
