Sparring is not about fighting; it is about discipline, precision, and control. In our dojo, we practice kumite with full safety gear to build focus and confidence, ensuring a controlled environment for every student.

About Testing Our Skills: Sparring (Kumite)

Here, sparring—or kumite—is strictly about technical precision and control, never aggression. Every student wears full protective gear, including head guards and gloves, from day one. You won't see wild swings here; I teach my students that the real victory is a clean, well-timed point, not hurting an opponent. It is a safe, supervised space where students learn to manage distance and timing, whether they are training for a belt exam or preparing for a national tournament.
