About Red Carpet & Editorial Glamour
A red carpet gown is one thing, but how it looks through a camera lens is entirely different. When I style you for an event or a shoot, we do not just drape the fabric, I actually take test shots to see how the material catches the light and moves. If the embellishments do not pop or the silhouette feels stiff, we adjust it right there, no guesswork, just pure precision for that perfect shot.
When you step out onto the red carpet or pose for a high-fashion editorial, the pressure to stand out is real. In my 30 years styling for Bollywood, I have learned that the best looks are not just about wearing a designer label, they are about how the outfit interacts with the light and the camera lens.
The Science of the Look
I pay attention to the details that others often miss. Is the fabric prone to wrinkling under flash photography? Does the hemline drag too much, or is it perfectly structured for movement? Whether I am styling a sheer, feathered gown for an event like the Global Spa Awards or crafting a powerful blazer dress for a magazine shoot, I obsess over the technical side of the drape.
How We Work Together
My process is a collaboration. We start with a 45-minute consultation to understand the event theme and your personal comfort level. From there, I create style directions, which we call look boards, to decide the vibe. We do not stop until the fitting is perfect, even if that means multiple trial sessions to get the pinning and structural adjustments spot on.
Why Camera Checks Matter
I always tell my clients, 'aankhen sekna' (feast your eyes) on the details, but remember, the camera sees what the naked eye misses. That is why on the big day, I do a final camera check before you head out. It is this hands-on approach that ensures you do not just look good, but you look like the best version of yourself, whether you are walking the red carpet or striking a pose for the cameras. If you want a look that is truly yours, let us talk.
