Styling for the Modern Man
Style ka koi rule nahi hai. Whether you need a sharp sherwani for your wedding pheras or a bold, layered look for a red carpet event, let’s build your look together.
Here's a behind the scenes look at styling Dev Gill for his film Aho Vikramaarka. It's all about getting the fit and the character just right, even in the vanity van.
More behind the scenes from the film Aho Vikramaarka. Getting the actor Dev Gill ready for his shot, making sure the bright yellow shirt fits perfectly to create that on-screen impact.
For the Big Boss 16 finale, I chose this black jacquard fabric for Salman Khan's jacket. The texture and subtle pattern add a touch of luxury to his signature all black look.
This was the final look for Salman Khan at the Big Boss 16 finale. A black jacquard jacket with a velvet collar, a black shirt with embellished buttons, and classic black trousers. Simple, sharp, and powerful.
Dabboo Ratnani sent me this picture, and I had to share it. Salman Khan looks so magical here. It's always a pleasure to style him, especially for a photoshoot with a master like Dabboo.
For this episode of Big Boss 16, I designed a teal green tuxedo jacket for Salman Khan. The back is embellished with oxidized diamonds in dull black, adding a surprise detail to the look.
About Styling for the Modern Man
I don’t just pick clothes; I engineer them for the camera. Take the teal green tuxedo I styled for the Bigg Boss finale—it wasn't just a suit. I added oxidized diamonds on the back to catch the stage lights from every angle. When we work together, we aren't just looking at the mirror; we’re looking at how your outfit moves, how it sits under the lights, and most importantly, how it tells your story without you saying a word.
Bollywood is my classroom. If there is one thing thirty years in the industry has taught me, it is that authenticity matters more than anything. When I am working on a film or styling a star like Salman Khan, we look at the character first. The clothes are just the medium. I bring that same film-set energy to styling you.
My Approach to Men's Style
I treat every outfit like a character study. We start with a 45 to 60-minute consultation where we align the event theme with your body type and personal comfort. We don't just 'shop' for an outfit. We analyze fabrics, check textures under lighting, and perform technical fittings to ensure the fall of the garment is perfect. Tauba! Nothing looks worse than an ill-fitted suit, no matter how expensive it is.
From Red Carpets to Weddings
- Formal & Red Carpet: Whether it is a jacket for an awards night or a tuxedo for a gala, I focus on details that make you stand out. Think embellished buttons, jacquard textures, and velvet collars that add depth to a classic all-black look.
- Wedding Couture: I design sherwanis and fusion wear using high-grade textiles like Banarasi brocades and silk velvets. We ensure the embroidery and cut reflect your personality, not just current trends.
- The Technicals: My work includes structural adjustments and, most importantly, the camera check. I want to make sure you look as sharp in photos as you do in person.
Let's Collaborate
I travel across Mumbai and beyond to source the right fabrics. If you are ready to stop following rules and start creating your own style, send me a message. Let’s talk about your vision.
