My Style Philosophy
I’ve spent over 30 years in the Bollywood industry, and style is still what excites me every single day. For me, it’s about creating a vibe and making you feel like the best version of yourself, whether you’re headed to a big event or just want to refresh your closet. My approach is all about collaboration - we build your look together, keeping it real and memorable.
What I Actually Do
- Red carpet styling: If you have a wedding, awards night, or a party, I’ll help you stand out. I’ve styled Salman Khan for the Big Boss finale and designed gowns that get people talking. A little drama toh zaroori hai (is necessary)!
- Editorial shoots: I get into the story behind every photoshoot. From giving Nikki Tamboli a brand new avatar to mixing Paris and Mumbai for a collection, I handle the entire vibe, even down to your pose.
- Personal wardrobe makeover: I love reworking what you own to fit your life. I’ve upcycled a Maharashtrian saree into a modern outfit and created Banarsi brocade pieces from scratch. If you want wardrobe consulting or custom work, I’m game.
What Bollywood Taught Me
Bollywood is my classroom. Authenticity matters - I once visited actual bars for Chandni Bar to get the styling right. Iconic looks for Shah Rukh Khan and Karisma Kapoor? All about getting real, not just flashy.
My Go-To Tips
- Summer: Cotton, linen, mulmul. Breathe easy!
- Wedding: Go bold with colour, but pick fabrics you can actually move in.
- Men: Style ka koi rule nahi hai (there’s no rule). Layer up, mix it up.

I travel everywhere for fabrics - Jaipur, Dubai, London. Fabrics are my jaan! Whether it’s film or your closet, I’m all in. It’s hard work, but I love it.

My Story
Hey, I’m Ashley. As a kid, I’d pedal my cycle around the house and tell everyone I’m off to see the world. Now, my work actually takes me everywhere – Japan, Bali, London, you name it. Thirty years in, and I’m still hooked on styling and sharing what I know, especially with students. Family is my jaan, memories are my treasure. I’m that guy who’s always there for his people, no matter what.
