Featured Editorial and Portrait Photography
A look into my favourite frames, blending dramatic studio lighting with raw, authentic moments.
This is where fashion comes to life. I use dramatic lighting and specific posing to create powerful, couture-style portraits like this one in my Kharghar studio. This shot highlights the elegance of the garment and the model's confident presence, perfect for a high-end lookbook or a standout portfolio piece.
I love using the rustic landscapes around Mumbai to create soft, natural fashion portraits. This image, shot in a wooded area, uses the warm, diffused sunlight to create a gentle, ethereal mood that complements the flowing white saree. It’s a great example of a lifestyle fashion shoot.
For me, bridal photography is a form of fashion portraiture. This black and white shot of a bride on a staircase uses shadow and light to create a timeless, cinematic feel. I focus on capturing the grandeur of the wedding lehenga and the quiet elegance of the moment before the ceremony.
A strong portfolio needs clean, impactful shots that show versatility. This image from a studio session uses a simple backdrop and bright lighting to put the full focus on the model. It demonstrates a classic lookbook style, ideal for showcasing an outfit or for an actor's headshot series.
Creative angles and compositions are key to my editorial work. This mirror shot creates a sense of intimacy and drama, drawing the viewer in. It’s a technique I use to add an artistic layer to a fashion shoot, making the images more compelling and memorable.
This full-length portrait captures the free-spirited feel of an outdoor fashion shoot. Set in a field with natural foliage, the image showcases the entire outfit in motion. This style is perfect for lifestyle brands or for a portfolio that needs to convey a relaxed, bohemian vibe.
Groom portraiture is about capturing quiet confidence and style. This black and white photograph, taken indoors, uses soft, natural window light for a classic, sophisticated look. It’s a candid moment that feels both personal and polished, perfect for any groom's album.
About Featured
You will notice two distinct sides to my work in this collection. There is the dramatic, controlled studio lighting used for high-fashion portraits, and the soft, organic feel of outdoor sessions around Kharghar. My approach stays the same for both. We skip the rigid, fake posing and focus on capturing your natural confidence through honest interaction.
Whether you need a sleek lookbook for a brand, a model portfolio, or a candid bridal portrait, I treat every session like an editorial shoot.
The Studio Experience
In my Kharghar studio, I work with gels, shadows, and specific lighting setups to create that moody, magazine-ready aesthetic. This environment is perfect for when we need total control over the vibe and want to highlight the details of an outfit.
The Outdoor Approach
When we move outdoors, I look for quiet corners around Navi Mumbai where natural light does the heavy lifting. These sessions lean into a dreamy, boho feel. I prefer working during the golden hour to get that soft, diffused glow that makes skin tones and fabrics look natural.
Why My Style Works
I do not work with rigid templates. Before we shoot, we will discuss the specific mood you are aiming for, whether it is edgy, classic, or relaxed. I provide posing guidance throughout the session, so if you have never been in front of a professional camera, you do not need to worry about angles or expressions. You just show up, and I handle the rest, from directing the light to the final color grading.
