About Modern Arabic & Floral Designs

These patterns rely on bold lines and clever use of negative space, meaning they dry faster and develop a darker stain quickly. It is my go-to recommendation for sangeets or festivals in Mumbai where you want the elegance of henna without the long sitting time.

While traditional Indian mehndi is known for its density and fine, intricate detailing that covers the entire hand, my Arabic and floral designs take a different approach. These styles prioritize flow and contrast. I use thicker lines for the main vines and geometric borders, which makes the pattern pop against the skin.

Why choose this style?

  • Faster Application: Because these designs often leave areas of the skin open, they take significantly less time to apply than full bridal work. This makes them ideal for large groups at corporate parties, sangeets, or casual festive gatherings.
  • Modern Aesthetic: If you prefer something that feels more like an accessory or a tattoo rather than a heavy traditional ornament, this is the way to go. It pairs beautifully with both western wear and lighter traditional outfits.
  • Darker Stains: I use my proprietary organic henna paste for all applications. Even with the thinner line work of Arabic patterns, the natural oils ensure a deep, rich colour that lasts.
