About The Art of Mehndi: Process & Classes
You don't need to be a born artist to start. In our classes, we strip away the fear of 'I can't draw' by teaching the fundamentals of henna control and design structure from the very beginning. Whether you are aiming for professional bridal work or just want to master the basics, you receive the same hands-on guidance we use for our own studio clients, with no prior art experience required.
We treat our classes like an apprenticeship rather than a lecture series. Our curriculum is built on 20 years of experience serving brides in Kandivali and across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. We don't just teach you to draw; we teach you to see the design.
The Training Process
Beginners start with line consistency, pressure control, and basic motifs before moving to the complex 3D shading and portrait work you see in our gallery. The most critical part of our training is the real-world exposure. When you are ready, we bring you to live events—festivals, weddings, or bridal sessions—where you handle actual clients under supervision. This builds the confidence that a classroom setting simply cannot replicate.
