Let’s move beyond the canvas. From painting quirky mason jars to texture art and handmade paper, these sessions are all about getting messy and finding your flow. No fancy skills needed, just show up and create.

This is a promo for my 'Paint your Jar of Joy' workshop. You get to learn how to paint on glass and turn a simple mason jar into a beautiful piece of decor to take home.

Trying out DIY texture painting with a friend. This is a super fun and sensory activity that I sometimes offer in private parties. It's all about creating cool patterns and enjoying the process.

A throwback to a Galentine's Day spent making our own paper from a DIY kit. I love exploring different art forms and can incorporate unique crafts like this into private workshops.

My first time trying Lippan Art with a DIY kit. This traditional art form from Gujarat uses mud and mirrors, and it was such a beautiful experience that I'd love to share in a workshop.

A quick and fun project painting on a tiny mirror. This shows how you can add an artistic touch to everyday objects, a core idea behind many of my DIY workshops.

Painting sunflowers on a black sketchbook. Working on colored paper can make your paintings pop, and I provide all sorts of interesting supplies for you to experiment with.

Day two of my sketchbook painting series, featuring heart-shaped balloons. This is a sweet and simple design that's perfect for creating handmade cards or gifts.

Here I am making a simple bookmark with alcohol markers. I always include little handmade freebies like these in my workshop goodie bags for you to take home.

Another design for the freebie bookmarks I make for my workshop attendees. It’s a small, handmade token to remember our creative time together.

A closer look at the strawberry-themed mason jar painting. This design is a favorite at my workshops, and I guide you through each step to get those details just right.

About More Than Just Canvas: Fun DIY Crafts

Whether you are trying your hand at Lippan art for the first time or painting a strawberry-themed mason jar, I bring all the supplies and step-by-step guidance. You do not need to be a pro to join; if you can hold a brush, you are good to go. Most sessions include a little something extra, like a goodie bag or a food combo, so you can just focus on the joy of making something with your own hands.

Beyond the Canvas

I believe art should not feel like a test. That is why these DIY workshops focus on tactile, fun projects that result in decor or gifts you actually want to keep. We swap out the intimidating white canvas for mason jars, textured boards, and even mirrors.

What We Actually Make

  • Texture Painting: Messy, sensory, and incredibly satisfying. We use mixed media to create patterns you can touch.
  • Functional Decor: Think mason jars, mirrors, and tote bags. These are projects that live on your shelf or desk.
  • Handmade Paper & Traditional Crafts: We experiment with DIY kits, from handmade paper to traditional Lippan art, which is great for those who love learning the craft behind the product.

The Vibe

Forget the silence of an art gallery. My Bangalore art events are about the yap, the snacks, and the shared laughs when things go wrong. Whether it is a weekend park meetup at Cubbon Park or a private group session in your office, the goal is the same: to disconnect from your screen and reconnect with your creative spark.

Why Join?

You do not need to bring anything except your enthusiasm. I handle the setup, the cleanup, and the supplies. All you have to do is show up. Check out the workshop calendar for upcoming sessions in Bengaluru cafes and parks. Let's create something cool together.

Hi, I am Deeksha! I realized art became a chore when I stopped having fun with it, so I started these workshops to get back to the basics: messy hands and good times. Whether we are painting sunflowers or turning jars into decor, I am just here to help you find your creative spark again.
