About this collection
At Artklub, we believe the true value of a competition is the boost in a child's confidence when their work is displayed, rather than just the trophy itself. We structure our events to ensure fair play, splitting participants into Junior and Senior categories so every child gets a challenge that fits their skill level. Whether it is a local Artfest or an external competition, our focus remains on encouraging that initial spark of creativity in a supportive environment.
How We Build Creative Confidence
We organize our competitions to be more than just a contest. We treat them as milestones in a child's artistic journey. By creating theme-based events like 'My Favourite Sport,' we encourage kids to look beyond blank paper and start visualizing concepts.
The Artklub Competition Experience:
- Fair Grouping: We divide participants into Junior (5-10 years) and Senior (10+ years) groups. This ensures that a 6-year-old is not competing with a 12-year-old, keeping the process fun and encouraging.
- Structured Prep: For external events, we offer a 4-6 hour prep package. We cover theme ideation, timed mock drills to handle crowd pressure, and technical refinement, such as choosing the right mediums for different lighting conditions.
- The Exhibition: We don't just grade papers. We mount student artwork on black chart backing and display it in our studios, clothesline style. This gives kids the feeling of being in a real gallery.
Our Process
When you register for our internal Artfest or a sponsored event, your child receives a dedicated 2-hour timed slot at our centers in Whitefield, JP Nagar, or Bilekahalli. We provide the materials, including standard A3 cartridge sheets, and focus on helping them finish their background and detailing within the time limit.
Every participant receives a physical certificate. We also engage the community through digital voting campaigns, which helps parents and friends cheer for the young artists. It is about celebrating the effort, the messy tables, and the joy of creating something from scratch.
