My Journey as an Artist: Hand-Painted Divine Creations

byPrernaDelivers across NCRView full gallery

Welcome to my creative space! This is a peek into how I turned my passion for art into a full-time calling, one hand-painted stroke at a time.

Here I am, holding my completed 24x24 inch Shiv Parivar painting. It's such a fulfilling moment to see a large-scale piece finished after putting so much heart into it.

Feeling blessed and happy next to my completed Shiv Parvati painting on its easel. The sunlight really brings out the vibrant colors.

Another photo of me with the Ram Lalla painting. I love dressing up for the occasion when I reveal a piece that I've worked on for a festival like Diwali.

A video collage showing how I turned my passion for art into my full-time profession. It features a mix of my artworks, from traditional paintings to personal portraits.

A photo dump from my life in July. It includes a hand-painted Krishna phone cover I made, a landscape painting, and me at a fun "Paws & Paint" workshop.

A recap of my art from October. This collage features some of my biggest and most colorful canvas paintings from that month, including a large abstract piece and a beautiful Tirupati Balaji portrait.

A look back at January. This collage shows a mix of my work, including a Ram and Sita painting on a round platter, an oil painting of a landscape, and a large spatula painting of Venice.

About this collection

People often ask if these are prints, but every single piece here—from the tiny wood slices to the large 3.5ft canvases—is 100% hand-painted by me. Because I work with layers of acrylics and gouache to build texture, I need a little time to finish each order. It is always a good idea to reach out a few weeks in advance so we can plan your custom piece properly.

People often ask me why I didn't stick to a more traditional career path, but honestly, art is just who I am. Whether I am sketching out a grid for a large-scale Shiv Parivar or carefully painting the expressions on a Bal Krishna portrait, it feels like meditation. Har Har Mahadev pops into my head constantly while I work, and that spiritual connection is the foundation of everything I create.

I work primarily with acrylics and gouache because they allow me to build depth and vibrancy that you just cannot get with a print. When you commission a piece from me, you are getting a process that involves detailed sketching, multi-layer blending, and a final seal with high-grade UV protection varnish. This ensures your art stays bright, whether it is for your mandir, a meditation spot, or just to add good vibes to your living room.

My goal is to make divine art accessible and personal. From the innocence of Baal Ganesha to the grace of Maa Durga, each brushstroke is my way of celebrating my roots. If you have a specific deity or a unique size in mind for your home decor, let's talk. I love collaborating on custom requests and helping you find the perfect piece.
