About From Sketch to Soul: The Creation Process
I do not just draw; I try to capture the Bhaav (emotion) behind the subject. Whether it is the meditative calm of Ram Lalla or the strength of a deity, the initial sketch is where I set the intention. You can see how each digital layer adds depth, bringing a formless thought into a tangible, high-resolution piece you can print for your home or puja room.
My process is a form of dhyana (meditation). I begin with rough digital blocking to get the proportions right—this is the skeleton of the artwork. In the early sketches, like the ones you see here for Ram Lalla, I focus purely on form and the specific iconography like the tilak and ornaments.
Once the lines are steady, I move to detailing, working on textures, lighting, and expressions that define the character. It is a slow, methodical approach, ensuring that every brush stroke feels intentional. My goal is to create something that does not just look like a painting, but feels like a presence.
Every artwork is crafted at 300 DPI, making them print-ready for canvas or paper. If you have a vision for a custom piece, we start here, with a conversation about what you want to feel when you look at it. I am here to help you turn your spiritual vision or personal memory into a masterpiece. Ashakya hi shakya kartil Swami—let's work together to make the impossible possible.
