About Behind the Scenes: My Creative Process
When you hand me your wedding varmala or a special keepsake, it does not go straight into resin. The secret is the patience before the pour. I spend days dehydrating flowers and testing layouts, layer by layer, to make sure no bubbles ruin your memory. It is a slow, manual process, but it is the only way to ensure your piece stays clear and vibrant for years, not just weeks.
Transitioning from my life as a Chartered Accountant to a full-time resin artist was not about switching careers, it was about switching from balance sheets to dil (heart). When you step into my Vile Parle studio, you see the reality of resin art. It is rarely as clean as it looks on social media.
My process is deeply collaborative. We start with a digital draft, not just a promise. I share layouts so you see exactly where your flowers or photos will sit before I seal them forever. Once we lock the design, the layering begins. Each pour needs time to cure, and sometimes we deal with the unpredictable—weather, bubbles, or a flower that just does not want to cooperate.
