The Artbeats Story: Where Art Meets Wearable Craft
Peek inside the studio where canvases turn into clothing. This is how we bring slow, soulful wearable art to life, one brushstroke at a time.
Start before you’re ready. In this video, I share my thoughts on starting a brand, focusing on the art first and building everything else piece by piece. The journey is about taking that first, small, unsure step.
My art journey taught me that perfection doesn’t come from planning every detail. It comes from starting, making mistakes, and showing up anyway. This video is a reflection on that process.
Being an artist today means wearing many hats. This video is a fun look at my life as a founder, from painting and designing to managing logistics and creating content. It’s a lot, but it’s the dream.
Little Keerthana, the kid who loved to paint, would be so proud. This video is a grateful reflection on how my childhood dreams have taken shape in Artbeats, a brand I built with all my heart and soul.
Art shouldn’t just hang on walls. It should live, breathe, and walk with you. This image of the Seascape Frill Top captures my core belief in creating clothing that lets you wear a story.
I never believed art should be limited to gallery walls. This is why I started creating pieces one could wear, carry, and live with, making art accessible for everyday life.
Comfortable clothes aren't stylish? I disagree. My kind of fashion feels like a hug, is artful, and holds meaning. Being well-dressed shouldn't mean being uncomfortable.
"Artists can't be entrepreneurs." Why not? Being an artist taught me how to adapt, think big, and build something from nothing. That sounds like entrepreneurship to me.
Luxury isn't about labels and trends. Real luxury is intention, craft, and something made slowly, with meaning. Here I am at a workshop, sharing my passion for thoughtful creation.
Where art becomes clothing and clothing becomes art. We don't follow trends; we conceptualize, illustrate, and build every piece as a lasting expression of sustainable luxury.
About Our Story & Process
Every piece here starts with a single sketch, not a mass-production printer. When you see those vibrant abstract collars or hand-painted panels, know they were created right here in my studio, not in a factory. This is slow fashion where each garment acts as a one-of-a-kind wearable painting, finished with intentional, mindful stitches.
Art does not have to stay on a canvas. I started Artbeats in 2022 to bridge the gap between fine art and everyday clothing. My process is simple but time-consuming: I hand-illustrate every design, select sustainable fabrics like hemp and linen for their texture and durability, and oversee the stitching myself.
This is not about chasing trends. It is about 'wearable storytelling.' When you pick up a trench coat or a linen shirt from my collections, you are wearing hours of thought, a bit of messy studio magic, and a commitment to keeping craft alive. We keep batches small, ensuring that what you wear feels personal, not standardized. It is an imperfect, soulful way to build a wardrobe, but it is the only way I know how to make something that truly lasts.
Artbeats by Keerthana
I am Keerthana, and Artbeats is my way of making art mobile. I started this in 2022 because I was tired of clothes that did not have a soul. When I am not painting or managing the studio, I am finding ways to turn fabrics into stories.
