About Behind the Scenes: My Creative Process
I don’t believe in mass production, so every piece you see starts as raw fabric, thread, and beads right here on my desk. Whether I am hand-painting a diya or weaving a macrame sling, every step is deliberate. I handle everything from the initial color-matching to the final packaging, ensuring that your jewelry or festive hamper arrives with that specific, personal touch you simply won't find in a warehouse.
My creative process is all about the 'freewheeling' buzz—mixing local crafts with my own modern twist. When you browse my work, you're looking at items born from late-night experiments and daydreams in my home studio. I work with a variety of materials, including gota patti, kundan, and thread, to create designs that feel truly one-of-a-kind.
I regularly showcase my work at local exhibitions, like those at Uru Brewpark or Shobha Primrose, where I love meeting you in person and getting direct feedback. It helps me understand what you're looking for, whether it's a specific fabric necklace for a party or a custom-themed hamper for a haldi ceremony.
Because I am a solo maker, I don't keep massive stocks of inventory. This is actually a good thing for you—it means if you have a specific outfit in mind, I can often customize the jewelry to match your color palette. From hand-knotted macrame bags to delicate mirror-work earrings, every detail is considered. If you have an upcoming wedding or a festival like Navratri on the calendar, just send me a message. I love working on custom orders, but please give me a bit of advance notice so I can source the right materials and give your pieces the time and care they deserve.
