My Coaching Philosophy

I don't believe in quick fixes. My coaching focuses on the physics of ball flight and biomechanics to build a swing that lasts, not one that breaks down under pressure.

Sometimes the problem you think you have is just a reaction to the real fault. I focus on attacking the root of the issue, like an inconsistent pivot, which can cause a chain reaction of problems with power, contact, and direction.

A coach's eyes and ears are critical tools. Before I even look at a video, I listen to the contact and watch the ball flight. This gives me clues about club face, path, and attack angle, allowing me to work backward to find the solution.

There are many similarities between the motion of an elite baseball pitcher and an elite golfer. Both start the downswing from the ground up, use pressure shifts, and have similar trail arm mechanics. If you're not flushing the ball, you are likely missing some of these key moves.

Amateurs and pros both try to swing from in-to-out, but they do it very differently. Amateurs often compromise their posture and thrust towards the ball, while pros maintain their tilts and rotate, keeping the trail arm in front of the body.

This is my analysis of US Open winner Wyndham Clark's powerful swing. I break down the key moves that generate his incredible speed and his trademark power fade, from his ground force usage to his rotational sequence.

Why do you flip your wrists at impact? It is often a subconscious reaction to save a shot. The two most common causes are an open club face on the downswing or losing your posture and getting too far from the ball.

About My Coaching Philosophy

Most golfers try to fix a slice by aiming differently, but I look at the root cause. I listen to your impact sound and analyze ball flight to see if it is a path or face issue. We work backward from the ball to your swing mechanics. Stop guessing why your shots go sideways—let us find the actual trigger for your bad contact and build a system that works, without unnecessary tension or complexity.

A Systematic Approach to Golf

My coaching isn't about changing your entire swing overnight. It is about identifying the one biomechanical fault that is creating your 'bad shots.' Whether you are struggling with a push-slice or feeling cramped at impact, there is usually a reason your brain is trying to save the shot. We isolate that cause.

How I Analyze Your Game

I use a 'Ball-First' methodology. Before I look at a video, I listen to your impact and observe the ball flight. This gives me clues about club face, path, and attack angle. Only then do we dive into the video analysis using the Skillest app.

  • Telestration: I draw lines on your swing videos to identify shaft plane and spine angle faults.
  • Pro Comparison: We look at your movement side-by-side with PGA Tour pros to see the difference in positions.
  • Root Cause Focus: I don't treat the symptom (the slice); I treat the cause (the over-the-top path or open face).

The 'Inside 30 Yards' Methodology

For juniors and competitive players, I emphasize that winning is a byproduct of the process. We focus heavily on short game and contact. If you can master the area inside 30 yards, you drop scores faster than by just trying to hit the ball harder. My online programs are designed for consistency—you get permanent access to your lesson vault, so you can track your progress as you master new positions. You don't need to squeeze your shoulders or over-complicate your movement. You just need to feel the correct, repeatable positions. Whether you are in Taiwan or Kashmir, the framework remains the same.

I'm Arjun. I have spent years deconstructing golf mechanics to understand why the ball behaves the way it does. Whether you are a junior just starting or a pro hitting a plateau, I don't give generic tips. We will build a repeatable, data-backed system for your game.
