Custom Mythological Art & Realistic Deity Portraits
I create detailed, realistic portraits of Hindu deities like Shiva, Krishna, and Durga. Whether you want a dramatic charcoal monochrome or a vibrant colored pencil piece, I will bring your vision to life on paper.

My finished colored pencil illustration of Lord Ganesha against a bold blue background. I used vibrant pinks, purples, and yellows with gold detailing on the crown to make this piece pop.

About Mythological Art: Gods & Goddesses
Every piece here typically takes me 15 to 20 hours to get right. For complex deities, I use a mix of alcohol markers for the base and colored pencils for that deep, layered look, especially on jewelry and skin tones. I always share progress shots throughout the process, so we can tweak the details together as I work.
I do not just draw; I obsess over the details. Whether it is the intricate jewelry on Durga Maa or the subtle shading of Shiva's face, I focus on capturing the emotion and divinity of the subject. My process is heavy on layering. I start with alcohol markers to build up the color base, then switch to premium pencils like Prismacolor or Polychromos for the pore-level realism and intricate textures.
If you prefer the classic, intense look, I also do high-contrast charcoal and graphite work that focuses purely on mood and expression. My paper of choice is always heavyweight, acid-free stock because this art is meant to last. When you commission a piece, you are not getting a print. You are getting an original piece of art that takes me days to finish. I love working on mythological compositions because they allow me to play with lighting, traditional patterns, and different cultural elements. Just remember, these are not instant. They require patience, but I promise the final result is worth the wait.
