Sketching deities like Shiv-Shakti or Maa Saraswati is my way of finding sukoon. These portraits are more than just art; they are a blend of devotion and patience, hand-drawn with graphite on quality paper.

The final A3 size sketch of Shiva and Parvati sharing a moment of divine peace. This large-format piece allows for incredible detail in their expressions, attire, and the gentle flame between them.

A video montage showing the creation of the Shiv-Shakti sketch. It highlights the process of drawing the fabric folds, the Rudraksha beads, and the final assembly of the divine couple.

This process video focuses on the initial stages of the Shiv-Shakti portrait. You can see how I build the figures from the ground up, ensuring the anatomy and posture are correct before adding details.

Watch my sketch of Lord Ram come to life. This video shows the journey from a simple outline to a fully rendered portrait, capturing his youthful and determined spirit.

An in-progress shot of the Lord Ram sketch. Here, his face and hair are complete, showcasing the intended expression, while the rest of the drawing awaits its details.

My completed portrait of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of art and wisdom. The gentle halo and the intricate details on her veena were my favorite parts to draw.

A work-in-progress photo of the Maa Saraswati sketch. This was a special piece I created for Basant Panchami, and this image captures the moment her divine face was complete.

About Divine Connections: Shiv-Shakti, Ram, and Saraswati

My process for these divine portraits relies on the grid method to ensure the facial proportions are accurate. Whether I am shading the intricate jewelry on Maa Saraswati or the Rudraksha beads for Shiv-Shakti, I focus intently on the expressions so the final result feels right for your home.

I believe that good art takes time and effort. When you commission a piece, I use heavy 180-200 GSM acid-free paper to make sure your portrait stays fresh and avoids yellowing over time.

For the detailing, I use premium tools like Steadtler Mars Lumograph and Faber-Castell Pitt Graphite pencils. These allow for deep blacks and soft shading, which are crucial when capturing the aura of a deity.

Once the drawing is complete, I apply a professional fixative spray to prevent any smudging. To ensure it reaches you in perfect condition, I sandwich the artwork between rigid hardboards for delivery anywhere in India. You will always receive a high-resolution digital proof for your approval before I finalize and ship the sketch. If you have a specific vision for a pose or composition, we can discuss it before I start, as I want to make sure the final piece brings you the peace you are looking for.
