About Spiritual & Mythological Sketches
Creating these spiritual portraits is not just about drawing lines, it is about capturing a feeling. Every piece, whether it is Lord Hanuman or Goddess Durga, takes me 40 to 45 hours of intense work. I focus heavily on the eyes and ornaments because that is where the expression lives. If you have a specific deity or a mythological scene in mind, send me the reference photo and let us discuss the details.
My process is rooted in patience. When I work on spiritual and mythological art, I use the grid method to ensure the proportions are exactly right before I start shading. This is essential because these figures are deeply personal to the people who commission them, and I want to get every detail perfect.
I primarily use graphite and charcoal pencils to build depth. For the jewelry, crowns, and traditional ornaments, I use blending tools and mechanical pencils to achieve a metallic texture that shines on paper. I often get requests for Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva, and Goddess Durga. Each requires a different approach to 'shading' to convey either power or peace.
Whether you want a piece for your home temple, a gift for a loved one, or simply a fine art sketch, the effort remains the same. I do not rush. I prefer to spend the time necessary to get the skin texture and the expressions right so the final piece feels alive. If you are interested in a commission, share the reference photo you have in mind. I deliver these sketches safely packed anywhere in India, ensuring the art reaches you in perfect condition.
