Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes; design is knowing which ones to keep. This flat lay shows the process of creating a mood board, bringing together material samples, color swatches, and inspirational images to define a project's aesthetic.
Here I am in my studio, working on the material palette for an upcoming project. This is a crucial step where I select and combine textures and colors, like marble, wood, and fabric swatches, to create a cohesive and tactile story.

Our design process always begins with a collaborative mood board session. Before we lay a single brick, we sit with you to assemble a tactile narrative of your home, pairing swatches of Italian marble with vintage-inspired fabrics and wood finishes. This stage is where we harmonize your lifestyle requirements with our minimalist aesthetic, ensuring that the final execution feels intimately yours rather than a catalogue page.
My design philosophy is not just about the final photograph. It is about the dialogue that happens between concept and completion. Every project begins with an intensive material selection phase, where I analyze the interplay of light, texture, and color. Whether it is a penthouse in Mumbai or a heritage restoration, I believe the details define the true measure of luxury.
Media features and industry awards, such as the Residential Apartment Design Mastery recognition, are wonderful affirmations, but they are not the goal. The goal is the lived experience of the client. I treat site supervision as a creative act, ensuring that the artisans and contractors understand the intention behind every decision, from the specific profile of a molding to the way a curtain falls.
