The Process

3. Transport & Stability Transporting a tall palm through Mumbai traffic is a challenge. We protect the canopy against wind burn during the move. Once at the site, my team performs deep watering with a rooting stimulant to remove air pockets around the roots. If the location is exposed to strong winds, we use tripod-style bamboo stakes to keep it steady until it takes root naturally.
