Why I Teach Floral Jewellery
Making jewellery from fresh flowers (tajya fulanche) is something special. I love sharing this skill because it’s not just pretty - it’s calming and gives you a real sense of achievement. My classes are all about keeping things simple, without too much fancy talk.

- Advanced: For those who’ve done the basics or want to master tricky designs.

- How to pick the right flowers for long-lasting pieces
- Prepping and conditioning flowers the easy way
- Stringing and weaving basic floral jewellery bases
- Mixing flowers with beads, pearls, and baby’s breath
- Making full sets for haldi and dohale jevan (Maharashtrian baby shower), plus necklaces, earrings, maang tikkas, bajuband, kamarband, hair veni, and even floral kaliree for brides

My Style
Classes are hands-on, and I always use fresh flowers. We work together in my Ulwe studio. Sometimes the flowers don’t behave, and it can get a little messy, but that’s part of the fun. When you leave, you’ll know how to make your own handmade wedding jewellery for any celebration.

Hey, I’m Aparna. Flowers are my happy place, my way of showing love. At my studio, I make fresh floral jewellery for weddings, haldi, and baby showers - seeing people light up wearing my pieces is the best part. Festivals? I love crafting special kanthi (garlands) for Ganpati Bappa. I also teach folks how to make floral jewellery, because why keep all the fun to myself? This art is pure joy to share.
