Why I Love Teaching Dance
For me, dance is not just about steps or routines. It's about finding your own rhythm, having fun, and feeling good in your own skin. I see kids and adults walk in shy, and after a few classes, they're smiling, moving, and just enjoying themselves. That's what keeps me going.
What You Can Learn Here
I teach a mix of styles, so you can pick what feels right for you:
- Kathak dance lessons for all ages, from basics to full-on performances. We even do pieces like Ganesh Vandana, with all the traditional feels - ghungroos and all.
- Bollywood dance workshop, hip hop dance for kids, salsa, freestyle, break dance, and contemporary. If you want to just let loose and dance to popular music, these are for you.
- Special Dandiya and Garba workshops during Navratri. Always a hit, and honestly, it's a lot of fun.
Who Can Join
Anyone, really. I have kids as young as four, teens, adults, and even parents who join in with their kids. It's a proper mix, and everyone finds their place.
The Big Stage
Once a year, we do a dance performance showcase called Pehal. It's a big deal for us - lights, costumes, and a real audience. Students get to feel like stars, and it's honestly the best part of the year.
More Than Just Classes
I run a summer dance camp for kids, with dance, music, and art. We also celebrate festivals and national days with themed events and performances. The vibe is always friendly and supportive - no stress, just dance.

My Story
So, A One Music Academy started with a simple thought - jab shabd kam pad jaate hain, music bolta hai (when words fall short, music speaks). We’re not just a school, it’s more like a hangout for anyone who loves music, dance, or art. Kids, adults, sab aate hain (everyone comes). Parents say it's super kid-friendly, teachers are funny and actually care. Our 'Pehal' fest is our favourite – everyone gets their moment on stage. That’s us, just spreading joy with music and dance.
My Work
All-in-one arts classes - We teach Kathak dance classes, Western dance lessons, vocal, guitar, drums, keyboard, ukulele, plus painting and crafts.
