Contemporary Lehengas for Modern Fusion Weddings
I design these lehengas for the modern woman who loves tradition but isn't bound by it. From sculpted silhouettes to 3D embroidery, these pieces are crafted to help you stand out at your next celebration.
This ensemble showcases my passion for 3D embroidery and bold color blocking. The pink and blue lehenga features a sculpted skirt and a blouse detailed with intricate corded cut dana work, creating a striking, modern bridal look.
A fairytale look with a modern twist. This raw silk-based lehenga features dense, multicolor floral embroidery, paired with a contemporary blouse with dramatic puffed organza sleeves for a statement silhouette.
I designed this black lehenga to be captivating and eye-catching. The vibrant, multicolored floral embroidery pops against the dark base, and the sheer embroidered sleeves on the blouse add a touch of modern elegance.
This black fusion lehenga is all about drama and texture. The skirt features unique, wave-like sculpted details, paired with a sleek, long-sleeved sequin crop top for a look that is both edgy and sophisticated.
I love working with modern techniques like tie-dye. This off-white and lavender georgette lehenga, designed for Ashika Ranganath, features a beautiful tie-dye pattern and a blouse intricately embroidered with silver katdana and pearls.
This contemporary lehenga set plays with light and texture. The dual-toned panel skirt creates a beautiful ombre effect, paired with a blouse featuring geometric cut dana details and a structured stripe dupatta.
Showcased at Bangalore Times Fashion Week, this plum-colored silk lehenga is detailed with intricate floral embroidery. The look is completed with a unique organza cutwork dupatta that drapes like a cape.
About this collection
I design these lehengas with real wearability in mind. Most of my pieces come with built-in canvas lining at the hem to keep that perfect circular shape without needing extra help. I also make sure there is enough room for pockets in the skirt because you should not have to choose between a stunning outfit and having a place to keep your essentials.
My approach to lehengas is about bridging the gap between classic heritage and modern comfort. You will find that my collection moves away from the heavy, traditional structures that can be hard to carry, opting instead for silhouettes that allow you to move freely while still maintaining a grand, red-carpet look.
I often work with fabrics like Italian Crepe, Shimmer Georgette, and Organza to create fusion looks that drape beautifully. Whether we are incorporating a Banarasi silk skirt with a contemporary crop top or using 3D floral motifs and geometric cut-dana patterns, the focus is always on creating a piece that feels unique to you.
If you are planning your wedding or a reception in Bangalore, we can refine the design to match your venue and event vibe. I believe that even a traditional outfit should reflect your personality. We can play with necklines, adjust the sleeve style, or change the color palette to ensure the ensemble fits your specific vision. Every piece includes 1-2 fittings in my Sanjayanagara studio to ensure the hemline and waist definition are exactly right before you walk out the door.
