Featured Designs: Fusion & Traditional Wear
A look at my signature work, blending traditional craftsmanship with fresh, modern silhouettes for every celebration.
This is one of my favorite creations, a new-age contemporary lehenga. I designed this piece with a sculpted skirt featuring geometric patterns and a 3D hand-embroidered corded cut dana blouse with architectural shoulders, perfect for a client who wants a truly standout reception outfit.
I love creating coordinated outfits for couples. Here, the gentleman wears a custom-embroidered blue bandhgala jacket that complements the sparkling blue katdana corset gown, making them a perfectly matched pair for their special event.
This emerald green saree gown is my modern take on a classic silhouette, designed for actress Ashika Ranganath. It combines the ease of a gown with the elegance of a saree, featuring cascading ruffles and a stylish strappy back for a contemporary cocktail look.
For actress Shanvi Srivastava, I designed this shimmering gold evening gown. The structured corset bodice and flowing, high-low skirt create a dramatic and glamorous silhouette, ideal for red carpet events or a high-fashion engagement party.
This vibrant orange silk lehenga shows how I play with color and traditional motifs. The skirt features a hand-painted border, paired with a Kashmiri embroidered blouse and a georgette dupatta, creating a joyful and elegant look for a mehendi or sangeet ceremony.
Elegance is in the details of this off-white chikankari georgette Anarkali. While it has a traditional feel, the daring open-back design adds a modern twist, making it a sophisticated choice for any celebration.
I enjoy reinterpreting traditional fabrics, like this red tishu Kanchi saree. By pairing it with a modern, one-shoulder embroidered crop blouse, I've created a unique fusion look that I showcased at Bangalore Times Fashion Week.
About this collection
I design pieces that hold their shape from the first dance to the final photo. Every fusion gown or lehenga I craft includes built-in corset boning for waist definition and horsehair braiding in the hem to keep the volume perfect. You will not need to worry about adjustments or constant pinning; these outfits are built to stay flawless while you move.
My approach is simple: tradition should not feel heavy or restrictive. Whether it is an actress looking for a red-carpet gown or a bride planning her sangeet, I focus on the structural details that make an outfit effortless to wear.
The Fusion Process
I often start with classic South Indian textiles like Kanchi silk and re-engineer them. Instead of a standard drape, you might find a saree gown with pre-stitched pleats that give you the traditional look without the hassle of pinning. My studio in Sanjayanagara is where we work on these details—adjusting necklines, finalizing color palettes, or tweaking embroidery placement so the final piece reflects your personal style.
Construction and Craft
When you see a lehenga or gown in this gallery, notice the silhouette. I use heavy can-can netting in my skirts for volume and canvas lining to maintain those sharp, circular shapes. For my evening wear, I rely on Swarovski crystals, katdana, and Zardosi work, applied intentionally to highlight the yoke or waist.
Planning Your Look
If you have a vision, bring it to the table. Most of my collections are limited-edition, but I am always happy to customize. We can discuss your event type, your comfort level with drapes, and the specific embroidery work you want. My goal is to ensure you walk out in an outfit that feels like it was made specifically for you, not just something off a rack.
