About Cityscapes & Heritage Stories
When I draft these murals, I do not just replicate a photograph. I spend days layering in the local flavor, like the specific tropical flora found around Lodhi Garden or the intricate archways typical of a Lucknow bazaar. I mix your personal memories with these historical touchstones so the art feels like it belongs to your room, not just a history textbook.
My process is rarely straightforward. It starts with a conversation about what a city or a heritage site means to you. Is it the smell of street food in Old Delhi, the quiet grandeur of Humayun's Tomb, or the rhythmic life on the Banaras ghats? Once we establish the theme, I begin with hand-drawn sketches. I treat these designs as collages, merging architectural landmarks with dreamlike botanical elements to ensure the final wallpaper or wall mural feels alive.
I print these on luxury-grade textured papers like canvas or silk, which gives the art depth that flat digital prints simply cannot match. For restaurant spaces, like the work I did for Havemore in Delhi, I focus on cohesion. The goal is to make the walls frame the dining experience, not distract from it.
If you are planning to install these in your home, I provide guidance on measurements and work closely with your local installation team to ensure the panels align perfectly. Whether you want to transform a feature wall in your living room or add a touch of Nawabi elegance to a ceiling, I handle the design and the logistics. I work across the National Capital Region and beyond, so if you have a wall that is currently just a blank space, let us make it a story worth looking at.
