When I work with unconventional surfaces like wood or ceramic, the process is less about standard application and more about material dialogue. For furniture shutters or tabletops, I focus on vector-quality artwork that maintains perfect clarity at custom dimensions, ensuring the grain of the wood or the texture of the tile complements the design rather than fighting it.
My studio is where these ideas start. Whether it is printing a heritage-inspired pattern onto wardrobe shutters or hand-painting a ceiling medallion, the goal is to break the monotony of standard interior surfaces.
Why consider non-wall surfaces?
Walls are just the starting point. When you paint a ceiling, you change the entire volume of a room. When you add art to a cupboard or a table, you turn functional furniture into a conversation piece.
