About Festivals & Public Events
When filming large crowds like the Rath Yatra or Dussehra, I prioritize safety protocols while ensuring the drone gets close enough to capture the energy. I use the DJI Mavic 3 for high-altitude wide shots, switching to FPV drones if you need high-speed movement through the venue. This ensures you get both the massive scale of the gathering and the intensity of the moment without disrupting the crowd.
Capturing Energy from Above
Public events are unpredictable. You have shifting light, massive crowds, and very little room for error. My goal is to capture the scale of your event without getting in the way. Whether it is a religious procession, a live concert, or a community celebration, I know how to position the drone to highlight the excitement rather than just observing it.
Nighttime and Pyro Coverage
Most festivals happen at night. I use the DJI Mavic 3 Pro specifically because it handles low light and fireworks perfectly without losing detail in the shadows. I can coordinate with your event team to sync drone pull-backs with specific high-energy moments like pyro displays or crowd surges.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do you need special permissions for large crowds? I handle the technical side of safety protocols and flight paths. If your venue requires specific clearances, we can discuss that during our initial call to ensure everything is compliant.
-
How do you handle audio? Drones are noisy. I do not record audio with the drone, as the footage is intended to be used with your music overlays or crowd-synced audio from the venue.
-
Can you travel outside Delhi? Yes. I travel all over India for shoots. My gear is portable, and I am used to working in different terrains and event environments.
