About Sacred Wedding Mandaps
When we set up a mandap, we prioritize structural stability alongside the look. For outdoor lawns, we use sturdy fiber-carved pillars and ensure the fabric canopy is securely anchored, while for hall weddings, we focus on floral paneling and lighting that doesn't overwhelm the space. You don't need to worry about the logistics, we handle the full installation from the base structure to the final petal.
The mandap is the center of the wedding ceremony, and we ensure it is built to last. Since 2003, we have worked in various Mumbai venues, learning how to adapt our mandap structures to different environments.
Outdoor and Lawn Mandaps
For open-air events, we typically set up 10x10ft or 12x12ft four-pillar structures. We use fiber-carved pillars or floral-wrapped frames that can withstand outdoor conditions. We pair these with fabric canopies—often using rajnigandha (tuberose) hangings—and fairy light tunnels to create a warm atmosphere for evening ceremonies. If you have a lawn wedding, we focus on ground preparation and ensuring the mandap is perfectly aligned with the main entrance.
Indoor and Hall Mandaps
In banquet halls, the challenge is often height and stage proportions. We build structures tailored to the venue's stage width, usually between 20ft and 30ft. We use a combination of heavy fabric draping and premium artificial floral panels to create a backdrop that looks dense and elegant. Lighting is key here; we use LED Par cans to wash the structure in colors that match your wedding theme, avoiding the harsh glare often found in poorly lit setups.
Our Process
We handle the entire setup, including the Havan Kund, low seating (bajots), and carpet flooring. Whether you prefer a traditional Genda Phool theme with marigold strings or a modern pastel look with orchid accents, we bring the necessary materials and labor. We do not just provide the structure; we ensure the area is clean, the lighting is secure, and the final look matches the vision you discussed with us.
