About this collection
Themed shoots involve more than just costumes and props. In my studio in Sector 66, I focus on the logistics that make these complex sets work, including temperature control, sanitation for milk baths, and the safe integration of delicate items like pearls or flowers. You get to relax while I handle the safety and styling of every detail.
Beyond Standard Portraits
There is a specific kind of magic that happens when a child interacts with a world built just for them. My themed sessions are designed to move beyond the traditional portrait. We work with high-quality props, from miniature pianos and vintage airplanes to custom balloon arches for cake smashes.
My Approach to Creative Sets
Each theme requires a different rhythm. For a strawberry milk bath, we focus on the sensory experience and comfort of the water. For an astronaut-themed set, we prioritize scale and lighting to make your little one look like they are truly floating in space. My studio wardrobe is stocked with pieces that complement these themes, ensuring you do not have to worry about coordinating outfits.
Safety and Comfort
My primary concern is the baby. Even in elaborate setups, I prioritize safe posing. Whether it is a sitter session at 6 months or a first birthday milestone, I ensure the props are baby-safe and sanitized. If we are working with delicate setups like a floral wonderland, I monitor the baby’s engagement and energy, making sure we pause for feeds or naps whenever needed.
