Custom Home Gyms and Games Room Interiors
Your home should be more than just living space. I love designing private gyms and games rooms that fit your lifestyle and hobbies, not just your floor plan.
A full view of the private gym and lounge area. The design integrates the workout equipment with a media and seating zone, making it a versatile space for both fitness and relaxation.
The main workout floor of the private gym. We used large mirrors to make the space feel bigger and brighter, with plenty of room for a variety of exercise machines and equipment.
This angle shows the open layout of the gym floor, with exposed ceiling ducts for an industrial touch. Potted trees add a natural element, making the space feel less like a basement and more like a wellness retreat.
A view down the line of weight machines and dumbbell racks. The organization of the equipment was carefully planned to ensure a smooth and efficient workout flow.
A close-up of the lounge area within the home gym. I chose rich textures and a unique brass coffee table to create a stylish and comfortable spot to unwind after a workout.
This is a games room I designed, complete with a pool table. The hand-painted weeping willow mural creates a serene and beautiful backdrop for a space that's all about fun and relaxation.
Another view of the games room, showing a textured 3D wave wall panel. This feature adds a modern, sculptural element that contrasts nicely with the classic wooden pool table and flooring.

About Unique Home Spaces
A home gym needs to do more than just house heavy equipment. I focus on creating a floor plan that keeps your flow natural, like using industrial ducts for ventilation so the space feels airy, or integrating lounge zones right next to the machines so you can actually breathe between sets.
When I design a home gym, my goal is to make you actually want to use it. It is not just about placing machines in a room. I think about the flow, the light, and even the air quality. Using industrial-style exposed ducts helps keep a large space feeling airy and open, which makes a huge difference when you are working hard. Large mirrors are my go-to trick to visually double the space, making sure you do not feel cramped while lifting weights or using a treadmill.
For games rooms, I love blending playfulness with design. You can see how the 3D wave wall panels I use add a sculptural, modern element that breaks up flat walls. It creates movement and energy in a room meant for entertainment. I also love bringing in softer touches, like hand-painted murals, to make the room feel less like a clinical basement and more like a dedicated sanctuary for your hobbies. Whether you want a dedicated pool table area or a quiet corner for yoga, we can design a space that honours your interests. My approach is practical and sustainable, ensuring your home entertainment space is as durable as it is fun.
