Professional Emcee and Corporate Event Moderator
From G20 summits to major brand launches, I’ve learned that great emceeing isn't about being seen—it's about connecting your audience to the moment. Here is a look at my work behind the mic.
This short showreel provides an overview of my career as an MC, moderator, and spokesperson. It features clips from various high-profile events, including my work during India's G20 presidency and with major corporate clients. This breadth of experience is the foundation of the real-world expertise I bring to my coaching sessions.
Hosting the Curtain Raiser for India's G20 Presidency in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands was a distinct honor. This image captures a moment from the main conference, an event that demanded precision, cultural sensitivity, and a commanding presence. I coach my clients to develop this same level of poise for their own important moments.
In this video, you can see me opening the Outlook Indian Responsible Tourism Summit. I used a storytelling approach, comparing the organization's journey to that of a nine-year-old, to create an immediate connection with the audience. Learning to frame your message with a relatable narrative is a key skill for any leader.
This montage captures the vibrant culture and professional setting of the G20 meetings I hosted in Kovalam and Kumarakom, Kerala. Hosting in "God's Own Country" was a beautiful experience that required blending formal proceedings with an appreciation for local heritage, a skill useful for anyone communicating across different cultures.
Co-hosting the launch of Nestlé Alpino with the popular TV personality Gaurav Kapur was a fantastic lesson in stage chemistry. This clip demonstrates the dynamic interplay between co-hosts. In my coaching, I cover the nuances of collaboration, including active listening and supporting your partners on stage to create a seamless experience.
Sometimes, an event runs behind schedule and as the host, you have to accelerate the pace without losing clarity. This clip shows me introducing a panel of jury members quickly and articulately. We will work on diction and pacing so you can adapt to any situation while ensuring your message remains clear and professional.
The world of events is now both physical and virtual. Here, I am hosting a virtual summit for PMS AIF World, which requires a different set of skills to keep an online audience engaged. I provide specialized training for digital communication, helping you master the art of presenting effectively on Zoom, Teams, or any other online platform.
This photo captures the feeling of being alone in the spotlight, a moment that can feel either intimidating or exhilarating. My mission is to help you feel humble in that spotlight and connected to your audience, turning that pressure into a source of energy and confidence.
Here I am addressing delegates at a G20 summit meeting. Hosting events of this scale requires immense preparation, poise, and the ability to command a room with clarity and grace. This is the level of professionalism and stage presence I help my clients cultivate in their own public speaking, whether they are on a global stage or in a boardroom.
About My Work as a Professional Emcee
When I’m on stage, my job isn’t just to read a script. It’s to listen—to the crowd, to the co-host, and to the energy in the room. Whether I’m keeping a panel discussion on track or launching a brand, I focus on reacting in real-time rather than just following a timeline. If you’re looking for someone to hold the room together without it feeling like a rehearsed performance, this is exactly the energy I bring to every assignment.
Hosting isn't just about speaking clearly into a microphone; it's about being the bridge between the speaker and the audience. Having worked extensively as a professional emcee for diverse platforms, including India’s G20 presidency and corporate giants like Nestlé and Volvo, I have realized that the most effective anchors are those who can navigate the unexpected.
The Reality of Live Events
Live events are unpredictable. A speaker might run long, the technology might glitch, or the energy in the room might dip. This is where experience counts. My approach to anchoring combines rigorous preparation with the flexibility to adapt on the fly. I focus on:
- Active Listening: This is my primary tool. You cannot engage an audience if you are only focused on your next line. I pay attention to the room's response and adjust my tone and pace accordingly.
- Diction and Clarity: Even when we have to accelerate the schedule, clear communication ensures the message is not lost. I work specifically on voice modulation to ensure that even quick-fire panel introductions remain articulate and professional.
- Collaborative Hosting: Co-hosting with personalities like Gaurav Kapur has taught me that the best chemistry comes from supporting your partner, not competing with them. This creates a seamless flow that audiences appreciate.
Virtual and Physical Agility
Whether I am on a physical stage at a national summit or moderating a virtual conference on Zoom, the objective remains the same: create a connection. Virtual events require a different set of skills—maintaining high energy for the camera and managing digital interaction—while physical events demand presence and body language that commands the space.
My goal as your emcee is to ensure your event feels personal and intentional, never robotic. If you need a partner who understands the nuance of communication and can handle the pressure of the spotlight with grace, I am here to help.
