Writing for the stage is different than writing for an album. You are not just creating a mood; you are building a character. My process starts with script spotting, where we sit down to identify the exact emotional beats. We figure out where the tension needs to rise or where a moment needs to breathe. I draw from my background in blues, folk, and fusion to create textures that feel lived-in, not just tacked on.

For sound design, I look at the physical space. I build audio worlds using drones and textures, creating a foundation that the actors can step into. If it is a live performance, I attend rehearsals to lock in the flow. I want to be able to shift the tempo or the intensity based on how the audience is reacting that night. It makes every show different.
