Behind the Scenes of Legal Practice

My office is where legal theory meets real-world application. Here is a glimpse into the research, drafting, and mentorship that goes into every case and course module.

At my desk, where I spend much of my time drafting legal documents and preparing for my online courses. As the saying goes, "Do the best you can until you know better."

A candid photo in my office. The background with law books and files represents the constant research and preparation that goes into both legal practice and teaching.

Working on a case file at my desk. Attention to detail is critical in the legal profession.

A moment of focus while working on my laptop. I believe in the motto, "Light tomorrow with today."

Reviewing case notes and preparing arguments. I strive to "Make each day your masterpiece."

A focused moment during a work session. The legal field demands continuous effort and learning.

Seated in my office, ready for a webinar on career opportunities in law.

A candid shot. My goal is to make legal education accessible and practical for every law student and professional.

A principle I always emphasize in my contract law courses: "All contracts are made in good for bad times." This simple truth is the foundation of effective legal drafting.

About From My Desk

My desk is where research meets the reality of courtroom strategy. Whether I am drafting a high-stakes contract or preparing a module for first-generation lawyers, the goal is always the same: simplify the complex. You are not just looking at office photos here, you are looking at the foundational work that turns textbook knowledge into a successful legal career.

The images here capture the process behind my practice and teaching. After 22 years in the Delhi High Court, I have learned that the gap between a law degree and actual practice is vast. Many young lawyers struggle with basic tasks like drafting notices or understanding court procedures, not because they lack intelligence, but because they lack practical exposure.

Bridging the Gap

Every file you see on my desk represents a real problem I am solving, either for a client or as a case study for my students. I believe in 'kaam hi asli dharma hai' (work is real duty), which is why my mentorship courses focus on:

  • Legal Drafting: Moving beyond templates to understand the 'why' behind every clause in a contract or a legal notice.
  • Courtroom Strategy: How to present your arguments effectively and handle the pressure of the courtroom.
  • Practical Procedure: Navigating bail applications, police station procedures, and corporate compliance.

Why Practice Matters

Most law school curricula are theoretical. When you enrol in my certification courses, you get access to the same resources and methodology I use at my desk. We cover RERA, Cyber Law, and IPR with a focus on immediate application. If you have been struggling to find your footing or are confused about which area of law to pursue, these sessions are designed to give you clarity and the skill set to handle real-world challenges.
