About Meditation & Kriya Yoga Classes
Why I Practice and Teach
I follow the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda and other Kriya Yoga masters. For me, meditation isn’t about changing who you are, but finding a quiet, steady joy already inside. "Stillness is the altar of spirit" - that’s something my Guru said, and it guides everything I do.
What to Expect in My Classes
- I keep things simple, whether you’re brand new or have tried meditation before.
- In the beginner meditation techniques sessions, you’ll get practical tips - how to sit, relax, breathe, and gently guide your mind away from endless thoughts.
- For those interested, I share more about the Kriya Yoga initiation process and what it means to walk this path.
Our Spiritual Community
- Every week, we gather for Sunday Satsang, open to everyone. We chant, meditate together, and listen to talks based on Paramhansa Yogananda teachings.
- We call ourselves 'gurubhais' (spiritual family) - here, you don’t have to pretend or fit in, just come as you are.
- Most days, we end with prasad (blessed food) and simple laughs.
Deepening Your Practice
- For those already following Kriya, I offer retreats and technique reviews - real chances to go deeper with your sadhana (practice).
- No pressure, no judgments. Some days are deep, some are restless. All I ask is sincerity and a willingness to keep showing up.
If you’re looking for a spiritual community meditation, a place to breathe and just be, you’ll find it here. Aum Guru.

My Story
We’re just a bunch of gurubhais, walking the Yogananda path together in namaste spirit. Some of us read 'Autobiography of a Yogi' and—boom—life changed. Swami Kriyananda started all this, wanting sanghas where folks could live these teachings, not just talk about them. We’re not gurus, just fellow travelers, sharing what’s helped us find joy inside. We chant, meditate, do seva, and try to be a spiritual family. Come join, feel at home.
