I know that sitting for photos can feel overwhelming for our elders. That is why I work at a slow, gentle pace during these sessions, prioritizing comfort over rigid posing to ensure the final images capture their natural character and warmth.
These legacy sessions are not about creating a stiff, formal studio look. They are about documenting the story of a person's life in a way that respects their comfort level. Whether we shoot in my Hiranandani Estate studio or bring the portable lighting setup to your home, the goal remains the same: a relaxed, respectful experience.
The Approach
For milestones like 60th, 75th, or 90th birthdays, I avoid forced directions. Instead, I focus on capturing unposed, candid moments—like a quiet smile while reading or a gentle interaction with family members. This approach is specifically designed to be patient-led. If we need to take breaks, we take breaks. The schedule is flexible because I believe the best portraits come from a place of ease, not a race against the clock.
Where We Shoot
- Home Portraits: I bring my equipment to your space. This is often the best choice for seniors who feel most comfortable in their own environment.
- Studio Portraits: If you prefer a controlled, clean aesthetic, my studio in Thane is fully equipped to handle portraits that require a more formal, classic setup.
Deliverables
Each legacy session includes high-end retouching on 10 final images. My post-processing style mimics a timeless, classic aesthetic, ensuring these photos look just as meaningful decades from now as they do today. You receive files that are ready for framing or for creating high-quality memory albums for the entire family.
