Featured Portrait and Lifestyle Photography in Mumbai
A curated collection of the stories, milestones, and portraits I am most proud to have captured.
This is the kind of portrait I love to create. Here, actor Sumeet Vyas is captured in a moment of quiet contemplation during a lifestyle session in my Mumbai studio. My goal is always to go beyond a simple headshot and reveal the personality of the person in front of my lens.
It was a true honor to be asked to create a legacy portrait for this wonderful woman's 90th birthday. This classic black and white photograph was taken to be a timeless keepsake, capturing her grace and the beautiful story written in her smile.
This portrait of Priya Malik celebrating Janmashtami with her newborn became an iconic image, and it holds a special place in my heart. It shows how we can create something truly magical and artistic, turning a photoshoot into a piece of fine art that tells a divine story.
Maternity photography can be so powerful and elegant. For this modern maternity session, we chose a simple, classic black dress to create a timeless and sophisticated portrait that celebrates the beauty of pregnancy.
Capturing the real, unscripted moments between people is what I live for. This playful, candid photograph of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan shows the authentic connection that I strive to find in every couple and family portrait session.
I was thrilled to be the official photographer for Rujuta Diwekar's book launch, an event graced by the wonderful Kareena Kapoor. This image captures the energy of the launch and reflects my experience in handling high-profile event photography with professionalism and an eye for key moments.
A portrait session is more than just static images. This video reel from my shoot with actor Sumeet Vyas shows the dynamic range we can capture, providing a mix of moods and expressions perfect for a versatile actor portfolio.
About Featured
Whether I am shooting a celebrity for an editorial feature or capturing a grandmother’s 90th birthday, my process starts the same way: with a conversation. I don’t believe in static, forced posing. My studio sessions in Hiranandani Estate are designed to move and breathe, ensuring we capture the spark that makes you, you. We will spend time getting comfortable before a single frame is taken, resulting in images that feel like authentic memories rather than staged pictures.
Photography is, at its core, a way to build a time capsule. My work in this gallery spans everything from high-profile commercial campaigns for brands and actors to intimate legacy family portraits.
My Approach to Your Session
- Pre-Shoot Consultation: For personal branding and lifestyle sessions, I work with you to build a mood board and discuss the visual direction. We talk about props, wardrobe, and the story you want to tell.
- Comfort-First Direction: I use a patience-led approach. If you are camera-shy or working with a restless toddler, we take breaks. The goal is to move past the 'posed' feeling and find the candid moments in between.
- Technical Precision: While I shoot with professional-grade Nikon Z8 and Z9 equipment to ensure magazine-quality clarity, the gear is secondary to the emotion. My lighting setups are tailored to your facial structure, whether we are in my studio or on location at a heritage street or café.
What You Can Expect
I offer distinct sessions based on your needs. For corporate headshots, we focus on professional framing and commercial lighting to help you stand out. For family milestones, I focus on the connection between generations—often using a mix of black and white photography to create timeless wall art.
Whether you are an actor needing a versatile portfolio or a family looking to document a season of life, I am here to help you get the images you’ll actually want to look back on in ten or twenty years.
