Actor & Celebrity Headshots That Tell Your Story
I do not believe in static, stiff poses. Whether you are building an actor's portfolio or a personal brand, my goal is to capture the depth behind the gaze, creating headshots that feel real, authentic, and ready for the spotlight.
A classic seated portrait of actor Sumeet Vyas for an editorial feature. The clean background and simple chair put all the focus on his confident presence, making it a strong and effective headshot for professional use.
This close-up headshot of Sumeet Vyas was about capturing intensity and character. The direct gaze and simple lighting are perfect for an actor's portfolio, showcasing his ability to convey emotion with just a look.
Another variation from my portrait session with Sumeet Vyas. This pose demonstrates a more relaxed and approachable feel, showing the versatility we can achieve within a single shoot for an actor's lookbook.
Using natural light from a window, this portrait of Sumeet Vyas has a soft, cinematic quality. It’s a great example of a lifestyle headshot that feels authentic and less like a traditional studio photo.
This black and white portrait of Sumeet Vyas holding a model airplane adds a storytelling element to the session. Props can be a great way to reveal more about a subject's personality or interests in their professional headshots.
This video collage showcases the different looks we achieved during my portrait session with Raghu Ram. From intense and serious to more relaxed moments, it highlights the range we captured for his editorial feature on fatherhood.
An unconventional, high-angle shot of Sumeet Vyas and Raghu Ram. This kind of creative portrait is great for magazine features and shows my ability to think outside the box during a celebrity photoshoot.
The chemistry between Sumeet Vyas and Raghu Ram was fantastic. This full-length shot captures their easy camaraderie and is a perfect example of a relaxed, friendly portrait for a feature on modern fatherhood.
A fun, candid moment captured between Sumeet and Raghu during our "Portraits of Fatherhood" shoot. It’s these genuine interactions that often make for the most memorable and relatable images.
About Actor & Celebrity Headshots
For actor portfolios, we move past the standard 'smile for the camera' routine. In our 5-hour editorial sessions, I use cinematic lighting and acting-based direction to pull out raw emotion, capturing the character you bring to the screen, not just your face.
An actor's headshot is often the only thing a casting director sees before they even know your name. It needs to say you are professional, versatile, and ready for the role. In my Mumbai studio, we treat each session like a short film. We start with a consultation to define your range, whether you need that raw and gritty close-up or a polished, friendly look for a commercial audition.
Technically, I use flagship Nikon Z8 and Z9 gear with commercial lighting setups tailored specifically to your facial structure, such as Rembrandt or Beauty lighting. But the equipment is secondary. The real work happens in the coaching. I guide you through micro-expressions and body language, ensuring the final result is not just a photo, but a performance in a single frame.
We offer 5 distinct looks during these extensive sessions, incorporating everything from high fashion to moody black-and-white. My studio in Hiranandani Estate, Thane, provides the controlled environment we need for precision, but I am also available for outdoor locations if your brand requires that specific lifestyle feel.
