Elephants are deeply auspicious, often requested for weddings and festive occasions as a sign of prosperity and luck. Lotuses, on the other hand, bring a sense of purity and new beginnings, which I love to incorporate into both bridal and engagement designs.

Customizing Your Design

While these motifs are traditional, I love to keep them fresh. Whether you want a single, bold peacock feather on the back of your hand, or a detailed scene with peacocks perched under palace-style arches, we can tailor the complexity to your taste. For those who love a modern vibe, I also create minimalist designs using lotus petals or vines that flow elegantly from the wrist to the fingers.

Our Process

I use my own organic henna paste, which is designed to stain a deep, rich maroon. Because nature motifs often feature bold lines, the quality of the henna is important to ensure the design pops. I always apply a lemon-sugar sealant once the mehendi is semi-dry, which keeps the paste on your skin longer so the color develops fully.
