A heavy peacock motif on the palm, for instance, needs to be balanced with fine, delicate net work (jaali) on the fingers so the design remains readable and doesn't blur after the stain develops.

I often blend these traditional figures with 'no mirror image' layouts. This means if I draw a lotus on your left hand, the right hand won't be a carbon copy. Instead, I might mirror the placement of the lotus but change the surrounding floral pattern or the leaf motifs. This creates a one-of-a-kind look that feels custom-made for you.
