Behind the Scenes: How I Craft Every Candle
Step into my studio and see the magic behind the wax. From the first melt to the final package, this is the story of every piece I create.
My art? It’s a glow that fills your home. This video is a little glimpse into my world as a candle artist, where I turn wax into moments of magic.
This is one of my personal favorite candles to make. The 'Classic Duo' features elegant glass jars and is decorated with dried botanicals. The process is precise, but the result is always worth it.
It’s been a while since I made the Classic Duo candle. This video shows the intricate process of creating this decorative and fragrant candle with sandalwood and rose scents.
Crafted with love and sunshine. Watch the magic unfold as I create these floral wax sachets, perfect for brightening up any space with a burst of fragrance.
Meet 'Sunshine', my handcrafted floral wax sachet with a delicate jasmine fragrance. It's a little piece of sunshine to brighten your day.
Each wax sachet comes beautifully packaged in my signature floral box, making it a perfect and ready-to-go gift.
The 'Sunshine' wax sachets, fresh out of the mold. The detailed daisy and floral designs are what make them so special.
About Behind the Scenes: The Making of Amour
People often ask why I spend so much time hand-pouring each batch instead of using machines. The truth is simple: machines cannot replicate the scent throw or the perfect finish of a hand-poured candle. When I mix the soy wax and carefully set the cotton wicks, I am ensuring that your candle burns evenly and fills your room with the fragrance you actually chose.
I often get asked if I use machines to speed up the process. The answer is always no. Hand-pouring is where the quality comes from. When I work with 100% soy wax, I have to be precise with the temperature so the candle cools evenly and the fragrance binds perfectly to the wax.
Whether it is a floral wax sachet or a glass jar candle, every piece goes through a slow cooling phase. This prevents cracking and ensures the wick stays centered, which matters when you burn it at home.
For the hampers, the assembly is just as important as the candle itself. I pair the scents with specific textures, like the dried botanicals in my classic duo or the jasmine-infused wax sachets. It is all about the details you do not see in a finished product photo, but definitely notice when you unbox a gift. If you have a specific vision for a gift or a tight deadline, just let me know. I love creating unique pieces that feel personal.
