Painterly Newborn and Family Portraiture
A curated collection of my most cherished painterly portraits, where timeless Indian mythology meets the quiet, unfiltered love of family. Each frame is a composed piece of art, designed to become a lifelong heirloom.
This is the art I love to create. A close-up of a mischievous little Krishna, caught with a mouthful of butter. These thematic baby portraits are more than just pictures; they are stories frozen in time.
There is a unique power in monochrome. This mother and child portrait, styled in elegant black, showcases a timeless bond with a touch of fine art drama, a style I absolutely adore for its emotional depth.
The pure, peaceful sleep of a newborn is a fleeting moment. I designed this cozy, floral setup to capture that serenity, focusing on the delicate details that make your baby unique.
A portrait of sisterhood just beginning. I composed this overhead shot to feel like a painting, capturing the tender, protective embrace of an older sister and her new baby.
The sitter stage is pure joy. This little one's personality shines through in this natural, light-filled setup, capturing the happy, curious energy of a baby on the move.
A first birthday is a big celebration. I love creating fun, stylish, and dreamy scenes like this one to mark the milestone, complete with custom props and a playful atmosphere.
A modern-day Yashoda and her little Krishna. This image embodies my painterly style, with a carefully crafted backdrop and traditional attire to create a portrait that feels both mythological and deeply personal.
Creating a timeless family heirloom. This session showcases a family styled in traditional Indian attire, resulting in a classic, painted portrait that will be cherished for generations.
About Featured
When you book a session, we don't just pick a date. We begin with a consultation where we style your wardrobe from my studio’s couture collection and decide on the artistic direction—whether that involves a minimalist monochrome portrait or an elaborate, mythologically-inspired scene.
I treat every session as a collaboration. My approach stems from my background in architecture and painting, meaning I pay as much attention to the composition and color palette as I do to the light. This is why I limit the number of sessions I take on; I need the time to pour my energy into the fine art editing process for every single photo.
The Artistic Process
My studio in Jakkur is designed to house both simple, clean setups for newborns and complex, theatrical backdrops for mythology-themed shoots.
- Classic & Minimalist: We focus on the tiny details—the way a newborn curls their hands or the peaceful expression of a sleeping baby. These are timeless, monochrome, or soft-toned images.
- Storytelling Themes: I love incorporating Indian culture into family portraits. Think of Krishna-inspired scenes with antique brassware, fresh flowers, and traditional attire. These are not just costumes; they are compositions built to tell a story.
- Heirloom Focus: My goal is to produce work that survives the digital age. This is why my higher-end packages include physical products like leather-bound albums and large-format canvas prints. These are meant to be displayed in your home for decades, not lost in a cloud folder.
Working Together
I handle the styling, props, and wardrobe for both mothers and babies. Whether you are looking for a simple 'Mommy and Me' connection or a full family portrait session, I guide the posing and the artistic direction. You just need to bring your family, and I will handle the artistry.

I don’t just take photos; I create art. With my background as an architect and painter, I approach every session as a composition, blending Indian culture with fine art to capture the fleeting, beautiful moments of your family's life. Think of our time together as a creative collaboration to build heirlooms.
