Featured Wedding Designs and Immersive Decor Themes
Every wedding I style is an immersive world built around your personal story, from desert moonscapes to glasshouse sanctuaries. Explore the signature work that defines the Altair aesthetic.
This ethereal glasshouse mandap, set against the serene Bali ocean, represents my core belief: that event design is about creating a personal sanctuary for your most sacred moments. It’s where architecture meets nature, and your love story is framed by breathtaking beauty.
I believe in the power of a single, bold color to tell a story of passion and grandeur. In this 'Laal Bagh' concept, a garden was transformed into a dramatic, romantic dreamscape using rich red tones, custom chandeliers, and the warm glow of countless candles.
For a couple who first met on the Orient Express, I recreated the legendary train for their Sangeet. This immersive design shows how I love to weave a couple's personal history into every detail, from the vintage train departure board to costumed performers, turning a celebration into a living story.
This Haldi ceremony, 'Kesar Sehar', was an ode to Indian craftsmanship and tradition, reimagined with a contemporary eye. The backdrop, a stunning landscape crafted entirely from marigolds, showcases my love for using traditional elements in new, artistic ways to create vibrant, joyful spaces.
For clients who trust me with my most eccentric ideas, I create worlds like 'The Glitch Pop'. This art-inspired event featured multiple themed rooms, including this purple space influenced by Memphis Design, showing my passion for pushing creative boundaries and designing truly unique, multi-sensory experiences.
I love the challenge of a blank canvas, especially one as vast as the Thar Desert. For the 'Over the Moon' theme, we brought celestial magic to the dunes, creating an unforgettable night under a canopy of stars, centered around a magnificent moon installation.
Crafting an intimate 'Lagan Lakhwanu' ceremony for Radhika and Anant was about creating a space that felt both grand and deeply personal. This glasshouse, nestled in lush greenery with a stunning floral pool installation, reflects my approach to designing serene, spiritual, and breathtakingly beautiful environments for high-profile celebrations.
A tablescape is a story in miniature. For this 'Midnight Mirage' sangeet, I layered rich cobalt and blue tones with lush florals and soft gold accents, creating a setting where every detail, from the custom menu to the charger plates, contributes to an atmosphere of mystic glamour.
About Featured
When you look through these projects, notice how the environment changes to fit the specific mood. I do not just place flowers; I build entire, temporary worlds—like a vintage train carriage, a desert glasshouse, or an art-inspired lounge—to host your guests. Before we talk about palettes or florals, I want to know the story behind your wedding, so we can craft an atmosphere that feels like it truly belongs to you.
Architecture as a Backdrop
My process begins with a blank canvas, whether it is a bare farm in Delhi or a heritage palace in Jodhpur. I often construct temporary structures to redefine the space. This might mean building a custom glasshouse for a ceremony or installing a fort facade in the middle of the desert. The structure is the skeleton of the event, and the design grows from there.
Art-Inspired Storytelling
Design for me is personal. For 'The Glitch Pop', we drew from Memphis Design and artists like Kusama to create a multi-sensory experience. For the 'Orient Express' Sangeet, we recreated a vintage rail journey. These were not just themes; they were deeply personal narratives. If you have a specific passion—be it art, travel, or a shared history—we use that as the foundation of our design.
The Role of Detail
True atmosphere comes from the layered details. You will see this in my use of hand-painted backdrops, artisanal Jali work, and lighting that feels like a soft glow rather than a harsh production. I rely on tactile elements—heavy linens, velvet furniture, and natural marigold installations—to bring warmth into grand spaces. We aim to balance high-end structural builds with intimate, human touches that make guests feel like they have walked into your private world.
