For the 'Over the Moon' sangeet in the Thar Desert, we created an enchanting evening under a star-strewn sky. The entire setup, with its earthy tones and warm lighting, was designed to glow like a golden wonderland, with a giant, luminous moon as the magical centerpiece.
'Echoes of Mehrangarh' was a sensory voyage blending history with futurism. I used mesmerizing mesh wire installations, captivating infinity rooms, and experiential lighting to transform the historic fort into an avant-garde landscape for a concert night.
A classic symbol of Rajasthani royalty, this decorated elephant stands amidst hundreds of candles. This image captures the traditional, opulent, and magical atmosphere I love to create for palace events, using light projections and heritage elements.
The 'Noir Soirée' was an exclusive event defined by the timeless contrast of black and white, with gilded hot air balloon installations adding a touch of whimsical wonder. This design in Suryagarh, Jaisalmer, was all about creating an atmosphere of sophisticated, contemporary grandeur.

Transforming a barren landscape like the Thar Desert requires more than just decor. It is about fighting the elements and managing vast, open spaces without losing the intimacy of your celebration. For our desert setups, I prioritize structural stability—using heavy-duty flooring and weighted cabanas—so the design stands tall against the wind while still feeling ethereal, light, and perfectly in tune with the golden dunes.
When working in iconic locations like Mehrangarh Fort or the remote dunes of Jaisalmer, my approach shifts from simple decoration to architecture. The desert is an unforgiving canvas, but it is also the most rewarding one.
Designing for the Landscape
At Mehrangarh, we focus on the fort's natural majesty. We do not try to hide the heritage; we enhance it. Lighting is my primary tool here—using soft, strategic washes against the sandstone and focusing on experiential light installations that guide guests through the historic courtyards. In Jaisalmer, the challenge is the sand. We build everything from scratch, including temporary glasshouses and mirror palaces, ensuring the flooring is perfectly level. I love using rich, warm textures like velvet and brass to contrast with the cool, expansive sand.
Logistics and Comfort
People often forget that a beautiful event is only successful if it is comfortable. We handle all logistics, from power distribution in remote areas to climate control, ensuring that your comfort is never sacrificed for the aesthetic. Whether it is a celestial-themed sangeet under the stars or a contemporary setup, my team handles the fabrication, rigging, and safety measures required to build safely in the wild. We do not just place flowers; we construct a sanctuary for your story to unfold.
