About From Our Studio: Fabrics & Craftsmanship
Every outfit starts with the right foundation. Whether you are looking for the breathability of pure cotton block prints for a summer day, or the rich sheen of brocade for a festive occasion, I keep a careful selection of quality textiles ready. When you visit the studio, we do not just pick a fabric, we plan the silhouette, the neckline, and the level of hand-embroidery to ensure you get a look that feels uniquely yours.
At my Gurugram studio, I focus on the intersection of comfort and detail. My collection spans a wide range of needs, from lightweight, breezy linens and soft denim for smart casuals, to luxurious velvet, silk blends, and vibrant brocades for when you need a bit of drama. You will find fabrics that are selected not just for their look, but for their drape and durability.
Beyond the fabric, the real work happens in the detailing. I am personally involved in the craftsmanship of each piece, whether it is adding delicate mirror work for a traditional festive vibe, intricate gota patti on muslin sets, or the precise placement of sequins for a contemporary blouse. Because I believe in ‘style bhi, comfort bhi’, I ensure that every custom piece is constructed with functional details, like soft mulmul linings in kurta sets to keep them opaque and breathable, or internal seam allowances so your outfit stays comfortable as your fit changes.
